A zine is a collection of fanworks published as a fan project in a magazine-like format. Zines can feature a variety of media, including writing, art (both digital and traditional), cosplay, photography, and more.What is this zine's focus? 
Our Diva is a Hyuna-focused Alien Stage zine dedicated to celebrating Hyuna's character, story, relationships, and impact on the series. While relationships and ships may appear, the primary focus of this project is Hyuna herself. Explore her narrative! Let her have fun! Let her be sad! The world is your oyster as long as Hyuna's in it!What will be in this zine? 
The zine will feature full-page illustrations, spot art, written works, merch, and other fan-created content centered around Hyuna.Who can apply? 
Artists, writers, and merch artists who are fans of Hyuna and Alien Stage are welcome to apply. Contributors must be at least 16 years old by the opening of applications. Contributors under 18 may be required to provide guardian consent in order to receive compensation or physical copies.Do I need Zine experience to apply? 
Nope! Everyone is welcome to apply. Because this is a character-focused project, applicants should at least be familiar with Alien Stage and demonstrate an understanding of Hyuna's character.     OUR DIVA aims to celebrate Hyuna's character, relationships, story, and impact on the world of Alien Stage.β˜† All contributors must have access to Discord for zine planning and information.β˜†This zine is SFW but may contain general themes present in Alien Stage, including violence, blood, injury, death, oppression, and other potentially dark elements.β˜†The final contributor count and zine medium will depend on interest check results.β˜† All contributors must be 16 years or older by the opening of applications.β˜† Contributors under 18 may be required to provide guardian consent to receive compensation or physical copies.β˜† All accepted contributors will receive a digital PDF copy of the zine. Physical copies and compensation will depend on final production decisions, cost, and sales.β˜†The canon story and canon-adjacent AUs (School Stage, Zombie Stage, Off The Record, etc) are allowed in this zine as long as their main focus is Hyuna. Information on whether non-canon AUs will be included will be provided after the interest check on July 11th.β˜†This zine is against the use of generative AI.     Artist Guidelines:

    Artist Applicants may indicate interest in being a:Page Artist:
    During the creation period, you’ll be expected to create one original art piece featuring Hyuna. This art piece can be a spread or a single page.    Spot Artist:
    During the creation period, you will be expected to collaborate with a writer in order to illustrate a part of their story. In order to do this, you’ll have the option to create from one to three small art pieces.    Merch Artist: **
    During the creation period, you will create merch designs (digital or physical). These designs may include wallpaper, keychains, stickers, icons, etc    ** Merch may be physical or digital depending on interest check results. More info to come in July.You may apply for each role but you will only be given one during zine production!Artist applications will be evaluated based on:

    Writer Guidelines:

    During the creation period, you will be expected to create a short story about Hyuna. The final story will have 1000 words minimum and 2500 words maximum. You may also be paired up with at spot artist, who will illustrate some parts of your story. If so, you’ll be expected to collaborate with them.Writer Applications will be evaluated on:

    β˜†Clarity    Because this is a Hyuna-focused zine, applicants should demonstrate an understanding of Hyuna's motivations, personality, struggles, and relationships.Writing Applicants must submit:β˜†3 writing samples between 1,500 and 3,000 words each
    β˜†Excerpts from longer works are permitted as long as they make sense as standalone pieces
    β˜†At least 1 sample must feature Hyuna
    β˜†At least 1 sample must be Alien Stage related    β˜†Accepted portfolios include:
